In 2019, The CHTC Fong’s Zhongshan New Industrial Park is established.

2017

In 2017, CHTC is merged into SINOMACH, and CHTC Fong’s Group has become a listed subsidiary of SINOMACH.

2015

In 2015, Monforts has been significantly expanded with the acquisition of the coating technology from Timatec, Europe.

2013

2013 marks the Golden Jubilee Year of the Group to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The Group has commenced the construction of phase II of the Zhongshan plant, which is expected to be completed by 2015, upon which all production facilities of the Group will be relocated from Shenzhen to Zhongshan, the Group’ s production capacity will double as compared to its current level.

2012

In June 2012, the Group entered into an acquisition agreement to acquire the German Monforts Group. The transaction was completed in November of the same year.

2010

In 2010, the Group adjusted its sales strategy, THEN Maschinen GmbH merged with Goller Textilmaschinen GmbH and was renamed as FONG’S EUROPE GMBH.

2007

In 2007, the Group set up Fong’ s Water Technology Company Limited and FONG’S Water Technology and Conservation Equipment (Shenzhen) Company Limited. In the same year, the Group joined hands with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to establish the“Fong’ s Institution of Advanced Materials and Processing”.

2006

In 2006, the Group successfully acquired the fixed assets, inventory and all intellectual property rights of former GTM Goller Textilmaschinen GmbH and injected them into the newly formed Goller Textilmaschinen GmbH.

2004

In 2004, the Group established THEN Maschinen GmbH to acquire the airflow dyeing machine business and relevant assets of former THEN Maschinen and Apparatebau GmbH and Scholl-THEN GmbH.

2002

In 2002, the Group acquired the Swiss company,Xorella AG, which is engaged in the design and manufacture of yarn conditioning and heat setting equipment.

1999

In 1999, the Group joined force with A. Monforts Textilmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG to establish Monforts Fong’ s Textile Machinery Co. Limited for the manufacture of fabric finishing equipment in China.

1995

In 1995, the Group established Tycon Alloy Industries (Hong Kong) Company Limited and Tycon Alloy Industries (Shenzhen) Company Limited, specialising in the production of stainless steel castings and precision machining of parts.

1991

In 1991,the Group acquired a parcel of land in Buji, Shenzhen for the establishment of its production base. The land covers an area of approximately 110, 000 square metreswhere a production plant and a 21-storey dormitory building were built.

1990

On 12 October 1990, the Group listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The Group was the first dyeing and finishing machinery manufacturer obtained the listing status in Hong Kong.

1988

The Group’ s plant and office premises located at Tsing Yi Industrial District with a total area of approximately 16,000 square meters was constructed in 1988 and as the Group’ s headquarters in Hong Kong. In the same year, the Group established Fong’ s Steels Supplies Company Limited.

1963

“NEC” founded by Mr. Fong Sou Lam in 1963 and company was renamed “FONG’S” in 1969.
